"A moisture-starved Arctic clipper system will pivot across the Commonwealth today. Expect a sharp contrast between a sunny but frigid western Kentucky and a gray, snowy eastern half. While accumulations will be minor (generally a dusting to half an inch), sub-freezing temperatures will allow for immediate sticking on elevated surfaces."
