While almost everyone will see some flurries or light snow, locally heavier bursts of snow will lead to lower visibilities and light snow accumulations. Within the heavier bursts of snow, fluffy accumulations of a coating to one half inch will be possible, and isolated totals to around one inch cannot be ruled out. Arctic Grip: Dangerous Cold and High-Ratio Snow Showers
"A brutal arctic air mass will remain entrenched across Kentucky this Saturday. Temperatures will struggle to reach the 20s, while a series of weak disturbances will trigger scattered light snow showers and flurries. While liquid moisture is sparse, the extreme cold will allow for very efficient, fluffy snow accumulation, particularly in the southeastern mountains."
